Breadcrumb
The trail of pages above the current one, each a link back up. Specification: docs/components/breadcrumb.md
Basics
Where the page sits: a <nav class="canon-breadcrumb"> named "Breadcrumb", an <ol> of the pages above it, each a link, and the current page last, marked aria-current="page". The separators are drawn between items.
Home and collapsed pages
The first item can be an icon (house) with its name in visually hidden text. Pages in the middle can collapse into a .canon-breadcrumb-more button that opens a Menu of them, its items links (<a role="menuitem">).
Size
data-size on the breadcrumb or a container: rows the button's height (32 / 40 / 48), text and icons to match.
Edge cases
A long trail wraps onto more lines; a long name stays whole. Right to left, the trail reads from the right and the separators point left.
