Menubar

A row of menus, for apps whose commands are too many for a toolbar: File, Edit, View. Each item opens a Menu. Specification: docs/components/menubar.md

Basics

A row of menus, as at the top of a desktop app: role="menubar", named by aria-label, holding .canon-menubar-items (role="menuitem") that each open a Menu with popovertarget. It is one stop for Tab: Left and Right move along it, Down opens a menu. With a menu open, pointing at another item opens its menu, and Left and Right move from menu to menu.

Anatomy

Open, with a submenu: the open item is held down, its menu opens under the bar.

Size

data-size on a container around the bar and its menus (the menus aren't inside the bar): 32 / 40 / 48 tall items, the menus' items alike.

Edge cases

Right to left: the bar runs from the right, Left moves to the next item, and menus open from the item's right edge.
